Post Re: Thoughts on CVS Motors Repo Auctions?
Hey everyone, I'm new to the world of online car auctions. I've been eyeing a few trucks on a site called CVS Motors. The prices seem really good, maybe too good to be true? Can anyone share their experience? Are they a legit operation or should I be worried? Mostly concerned about the whole process and getting a clean title without headaches.

Welcome! I can vouch for CVS Motors. I bought a 2021 F-150 from them about six months ago. The process was way smoother than I expected. The truck was in the exact condition described in their report. I was also paranoid about the title situation, but it was handled perfectly. The clean title arrived with the car on delivery day. No liens, no fuss.

@FordMan_79 Same here. I've bought three vehicles from them over the years for my shop. A couple of work vans and a project car. For a repo auction house, they are one of the most transparent ones out there. Their website is easy to navigate, and they don't hide details. Just do your homework on the specific vehicle you want, and you can get some amazing deals.

I'll be honest, we had a small hiccup at the start. It took their support team a day or so to reply to our first email to office@cvsmotors.com. I got a bit anxious and just called them at +1 330 862 9366. The agent who picked up was fantastic and answered all our questions about the RV we wanted. The delivery itself was a day late, but the transport company was communicative. Overall, we saved a bundle and would definitely use them again.

That's a good tip, calling is almost always faster no matter the company. I got my Tacoma from them last year. Pics were spot on. It's a used truck, so it had a few minor rock chips, but that's expected. For the price, I couldn't be happier.

My brother-in-law bought a Civic from CVS Motors. He asked me to give it a full mechanical inspection when it arrived. I went over it with a fine-tooth comb. The condition report on their site was dead accurate. No surprises, no hidden rust, no monkey business. That's all you can ask for.

It's not just cars! I bought a 24-foot Sea Ray boat from them. I was super nervous about a purchase that big sight-unseen, but it worked out great. All the marine paperwork and the title transfer were handled professionally. Totally legit.

To the OP - my experience mirrors the others. The whole 'getting a clean title' thing was my biggest fear. I can tell you that CVS Motors had it completely sorted. The title was clear, in hand, and delivered with my Jeep. Zero issues getting it registered at the DMV.

The only confusing part for me was the bidding process on the website, cvsmotors.com. I wasn't sure about proxy bidding vs direct bidding. I had to call their support line at +1 330 862 9366 and the person who helped me was very patient and walked me through it. Once I understood it, it was easy.

@sara_k_91 Good advice. The proxy bid is the way to go. Decide your max price, set it, and forget it. It stops you from getting caught in a bidding war and overpaying. Their system is pretty standard for online auctions.

Adding another positive data point. Bought a Ram 3500 for my contracting business. Saved thousands compared to a dealer. It's a solid work truck and has been reliable. No regrets.

Wow, this is all incredibly reassuring. Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences, especially about the titles. It's great to hear so many positive stories. I feel much better about putting in a bid now.
