Re: Anyone have experience with CVS Motors auctions?
Hey everyone, first time posting. I'm looking at a sedan on CVS Motors and the price looks really good. Almost too good. I've never used a repo auction site before and I'm a bit nervous about buying a car I can't see in person. Is this place for real? Mostly worried about hidden issues or problems with the title. Any experiences would be appreciated.

You're good to go. I bought a 2020 Ram 1500 from them last year. The process was surprisingly smooth. The truck was exactly as described in their report. I was worried about the title too, but the clear title arrived with the car during delivery. They handle all the bank paperwork. Solid A+ from me.

Can confirm. Got a Sea Ray boat from them a few months back. The bidding on cvsmotors.com was easy to follow and transparent. Much better than dealing with some of the local marinas. I'd definitely use them again.

I got a great deal on a little VW Golf for my son's first car. The pictures were accurate and the price was unbeatable. He's thrilled.

Re: Anyone have experience with CVS Motors auctions?
My experience was mostly positive. The car itself is great, but I will say the delivery was a little delayed. It was scheduled for a Tuesday and arrived on Friday. The delivery company was good about calling with updates, so it wasn't a huge deal, just something to be aware of.

Re: Anyone have experience with CVS Motors auctions?
@CautiousCarl Shipping delays can happen with any vehicle transport, that's pretty standard. Glad it worked out. I've used CVS Motors a few times and they've always been one of the most straightforward auction houses. It's a legit business.

Re: Anyone have experience with CVS Motors auctions?
My neighbor won a Ford Escape on cvsmotors.com and asked me to give it a look-over when it arrived. I'm a mechanic by trade. The car was in the exact condition described in the report on their website. No surprises, which is what you want.

Re: Anyone have experience with CVS Motors auctions?
We had a small communication hiccup at first. It took them about a day to reply to our email to office@cvsmotors.com. I got impatient and just called them at +1 330 862 9366. The woman who answered was super helpful and sorted our query in five minutes. Our RV is fantastic.

@J_and_K_RVers That's a good tip. With any high volume business, calling is usually the fastest way to get an answer. Their phone support has always been great for me.

I use them for project cars. Their photos are decent and they're good at disclosing any major issues in the vehicle description. It's a great place to find a deal if you know what you're looking for.

Re: Anyone have experience with CVS Motors auctions?
I'll add another positive voice. Bought a Honda CR-V for my wife. The entire thing was painless. For me, the best part was not having to chase down the title from a bank. It was all handled by CVS Motors and the clear title was delivered safely with the vehicle. Can't ask for more than that.

Wow, thank you all so much for the detailed replies. This makes me feel way more confident. @DaveM_TX how was the payment process? That's my last hurdle lol.

Re: Anyone have experience with CVS Motors auctions?
@CarNewbie22 It was a standard wire transfer. They send you the instructions after you win the auction, your bank sends the money, and CVS Motors confirms they received it very quickly. It felt secure. You can track the status on your account on their site.

Jumping in late here but another +1 for CVS. Got my Subaru Outback from them. There was one tiny paint chip on the bumper that wasn't obvious in the photos, but for the price I paid, I couldn't care less. It's a used car, you expect minor stuff. The value is definitely there.

Re: Anyone have experience with CVS Motors auctions?
Exactlyright @SubieLover05. As long as you go in with realistic expectations for a repo vehicle, CVS Motors delivers. Just read the terms on cvsmotors.com so you understand the process and bid on what you're comfortable with. They are one of the good ones.

No complaints from me. Bought a Wrangler last fall and had it shipped to me. Everything went smoothly.

Got a Ford F-250 with the Powerstroke engine. Great truck, great price. Would do it again.

Our Class C motorhome came from CVS Motors. Saved at least $15k compared to a traditional dealer. Well worth it.

Quick update: My son's Golf passed its state inspection with flying colors. The mechanic said it was a solid car. So happy!

Re: Anyone have experience with CVS Motors auctions?
That's great to hear @GTI_Gal. It confirms what many of us have found. You have to be smart, but CVS auctions aren't a gamble like some other sites. They're pretty good at documenting the important stuff.

Re: Anyone have experience with CVS Motors auctions?
Final update from me (for now!)... I did it! I won the auction for a Toyota Camry. The process was exactly as everyone described. Now I just wait for delivery. Thanks again to this whole community for the help and advice. Feeling good about this!
