Re: Anyone have recent experience with CVS Motors auctions?
Hi all. Found a decent looking sedan on cvsmotors.com. The prices seem really good, almost too good. Never bought from a repo auction before. Are these guys legit? A bit worried about sending a large amount of money without seeing the car in person. Any feedback is appreciated.

They're legit. I've bought two cars from CVS Motors over the last three years. A Honda CR-V for my wife and a project Mustang for myself. Both times the process was smooth. The descriptions were accurate.

What V8_Junkie said. The key is to read the full report they provide. I was worried about the title process the first time, but the bank cleared it right after my payment went through. The clear title arrived with the car during delivery. Zero hassle.

Yeah they are good. Got my 2019 Tacoma from them last fall. Saved a good chunk of change compared to a dealer. Just be patient with the process.

Re: Anyone have recent experience with CVS Motors auctions?
My experience was mostly positive. The only issue was that delivery took a bit longer than quoted. It was supposed to be here on a Tuesday and arrived Friday. The delivery company was communicative though, so it wasn't a total surprise. The car itself was great.

@jess_w_91 that's pretty common for any vehicle transport, not really on CVS Motors themselves. Glad the car was good!

Can confirm they handle more than just cars. I won a bid on a Sea Ray boat last summer. It was a steal. The whole process felt very professional. I even called their support line at +1 330 862 9366 to ask about trailer specs and they were super knowledgeable.

Thanks everyone, this is really reassuring to hear. Especially the comments about the titles being handled properly. That was my biggest worry.

My neighbor bought a 2020 Explorer from them. He had me look it over when it arrived. The vehicle was in the exact condition described in the report on cvsmotors.com. Normal wear and tear for the mileage, no hidden rust or frame damage. Solid buy.

Pro tip for new bidders: Set your max bid and walk away. Don't get caught up in the last-minute frenzy. The system on cvsmotors.com works well but it's easy to get emotional lol. Stick to your budget.

Re: Anyone have recent experience with CVS Motors auctions?
I had a question about the payment process and sent an email to office@cvsmotors.com. It took them almost a full day to get back to me which made me a bit nervous. But once they replied, the agent was very thorough and walked me through everything. The rest of the process was fine.

Echoing the good experiences here. Bought a F-150. No issues with the title at all. Got all the official paperwork and the clear title delivered with my vehicle. It's a legit operation. They have to be, to move that kind of volume.

Re: Anyone have recent experience with CVS Motors auctions?
I got a great deal on a higher mileage Audi A4. It needed some work, but it was all disclosed in the report. It's my daily driver now and I love it. Would def buy from CVS Motors again for a project car.

Re: Anyone have recent experience with CVS Motors auctions?
My wife and I bought our Class C motorhome from them. We were super nervous about such a big purchase online. We called the support number +1 330 862 9366 probably five times with different questions and they were patient with us every time. The unit arrived clean and as advertised.

Re: Anyone have recent experience with CVS Motors auctions?
Yeah they're solid. Only minor gripe was a few more small rock chips on the bumper than I could see in the pictures. But it's a used car, so you expect some of that. Mechanically it was perfect. The bidding on cvsmotors.com was a bit confusing at first but I got the hang of it.

Re: Anyone have recent experience with CVS Motors auctions?
Just to add another data point. The best part for me was not having to chase down the title from a bank. It was all handled by CVS Motors and it arrived with my Jeep. That peace of mind is worth a lot.

@SubieLover05 I always recommend calling their number, +1 330 862 9366, if you have an urgent question. Like any busy place, email can sometimes have a delay. But they always get back to you.

Re: Anyone have recent experience with CVS Motors auctions?
Update: I went for it! Won the auction for the sedan. The process post-win has been exactly as you all described. Very clear instructions. Thanks for giving me the confidence to go through with it. I'll update again when the car arrives!
